Bluefox legal
Terms of Service
Effective: September 15, 2026
Please read these Terms before using Bluefox. They explain the rules for accounts, subscriptions, Customer Data, payments, and use of the Service.
Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between Bluefox Software (“Bluefox,” “we,” “us”) and the person or organization that accesses or uses Bluefox’s websites, applications, and related services (the “Service”). If you use the Service for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes that business.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
The Service and accounts
Bluefox provides field-service business tools, including customer and job management, scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoices, payments, reporting, inventory, technician tools, and related features. Features may vary by plan, location, device, or integration.
- You are responsible for accurate account information, authorized users, permissions, and account security.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Your data and responsibilities
You retain ownership of information, files, images, and other content submitted to the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant Bluefox a limited right to host, process, transmit, display, and back up Customer Data as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and integrity of Customer Data and for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions required from customers, employees, technicians, and other individuals. This includes permission to send communications, process payments, collect location data, and store job or customer information.
Bluefox does not provide legal, tax, accounting, employment, insurance, or regulatory advice. Tax estimates, reports, scheduling information, and other calculations should be reviewed by you before relying on them.
Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Trials begin when the workspace is created and end on the date shown in Billing & Plan. Unless a separate offer says otherwise, a trial does not require a payment card and does not automatically become a paid subscription without your selection of a plan and completion of checkout.
Paid subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Prices, included users, additional-user charges, taxes, and the next billing date are shown before checkout or in Billing & Plan. Upgrades may take effect immediately with prorated charges or credits. Downgrades and cancellations may take effect at the end of the current billing period. Referral rewards are subject to the referral terms shown in the Service and may depend on a referred account becoming a paying customer.
Except where required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. We may change prices upon advance notice, with changes applying no earlier than the next renewal after the notice period.
Payments and third-party services
Subscription billing and customer payment processing are provided through Stripe and may be subject to Stripe’s terms. Businesses using connected payment accounts are responsible for their merchant account, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, surcharges, taxes, and compliance with card-network and applicable legal requirements. Bluefox does not store full payment-card numbers.
Optional integrations and financing providers are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Bluefox is not a lender, does not make credit decisions, and does not guarantee that an integration or financing option will be available or approved.
Communications
You authorize Bluefox to send transactional messages about account access, security, verification, billing, invoices, estimates, and operation of the Service. You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe method provided, but you cannot opt out of essential service messages while your account remains active.
You are responsible for communications sent through the Service to your customers and workers, including message content, consent, delivery requirements, and opt-out obligations.
Bluefox property and feedback
Bluefox and its licensors own the Service, software, design, trademarks, documentation, and related intellectual property. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your authorized subscription.
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you allow Bluefox to use them without restriction or compensation. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may use service providers to operate the Service and may provide notices about material changes.
Beta, preview, or experimental features may change or end at any time and are provided as available.
Suspension, termination, and export
You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel through the available account or billing controls. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, or harm to Bluefox, the Service, or others.
When a subscription or trial expires, access may become read-only so you can review and export available data. You should export data before deleting an account. Account deletion may be irreversible after applicable recovery periods, although limited information may be retained for legal, security, backup, or financial-record obligations.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” BLUEFOX DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. BLUEFOX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET EVERY REQUIREMENT, PREVENT EVERY LOSS, OR MAKE CUSTOMER DATA ACCURATE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUEFOX WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
BLUEFOX’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID BLUEFOX FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IF YOU PAID NOTHING, THE LIMIT IS $100. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Bluefox from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your Customer Data, your business operations, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights or applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. State and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires another forum. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute by written notice and 30 days of discussion.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
